Like most dogs in our care, Elophy was born on the streets – at a construction site to be precise. The manager of the site found Elophy under a staircase with her five siblings and her mum and made it clear they weren’t welcome there. Fortunately, one of the foremen alerted us before the family could come to any harm, and they were all brought to the shelter for their safety.

Elophy’s siblings were all adopted while they were still puppies, and her mum finally found her home in Canada last month. But Elophy is still here waiting for her turn.

Shy by nature and with no experience of the outside world, Elophy will need patience, love and support as he adjusts to life in a home. In return, she’ll offer unlimited wags of her curly tail, the most charming overbite smile you’ve ever seen and a lifetime of companionship. https://links.soidog.org/1800-days-of-elophy
