Chiang Mai And His Sister Were Orphaned And Left T..

Chiang Mai and his sister were orphaned and left to fend for themselves in a rubber plantation back in 2015 when they were just two weeks old. If that wasn’t enough to contend with, they also had infected wounds across their tiny bodies. Fortunately, a kind man came across them and brought them to our shelter where they got the life-saving care they needed.

Fully recovered and all grown up, they both found their forever homes the following year. Chiang Mai found his in Switzerland where he started a new life with a new name – Spike!

It’s been five years now that Spike has been living his #furrytailending life filled with love and adventures in all seasons – from frolics in the snow in the depths of winter to refreshing swims in the lake in summertime. And he’s enjoyed every moment of it. ✨

Below are some photos of Spike on his adventures with his new family which includes fellow rescue dog, Bella, who is his doggie doppelganger! (It might take a second to tell which one is which, but Spike is the one with a curly tail who naps a lot.)

From an injured, orphaned puppy to a full-grown boy living the best life he could ever imagine, happy endings like Spike’s are only possible because of your support. 🏠

There are so many other dogs like Spike at our shelter still waiting to find their forever homes. Please visit our website to meet them: https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
