With Or Without Vision, Cats Can Still Have Fun!

With over 40 times more odour-sensitive cells in their noses compared to humans and with rotating ears to catch all the surround sound, kitty cats live in a sensory world that’s completely alien to ours! #HappyCatMonth 😻
So we weren’t too surprised to see our resident cat Inkka, who is completely blind, having a whale of a time with her new toy. #CatWatch
Inkka was brought to Soi Dog to be sterilised, when our vets noticed she had severe issues with both her eyes and hardly any vision in either. Following subsequent treatment courses with no results, our vets decided to remove her eyes to ensure she was free from pain and infection. Inkka soon adjusted to her life with complete lack of vision.
While it is not always easy for special needs animals to be adopted, we are so happy to announce that, just a few days ago, Inkka went to her new home right here in Thailand. 🇹🇭
We want to thank you for saving cats like Inkka from a life of pain and offering them a temporary sanctuary until they find somewhere safe and filled with love to live out the rest of their lives.
With over 200 cats currently receiving treatment in our hospital and a further 200 resident cats in our sanctuary, your sponsorship is more vital than ever in providing these street felines with the chance to rise above their hardships.
You can donate to Soi Dog’s Care for Cats Club https://links.soidog.org/join-to-save-street-cats and change their world.
