Harry Is Now�Hermione!! (Ng Chen Chen�s)

As promised, more updates. I took “Harry” to the vet this morning and two vets confirmed that he is a girl! So she is now Hermione (named after Hermione Granger, Harry Potter’s friend). For short, we can call her Nee Nee. Like Hermione in the Harry Potter books, she has brown hair, gutsy and smart.

The vet took some blood samples, cleaned her ears, checked her temperature and weighed her (350g) and pronounced her perfectly healthy. The vet, of course, gave her some de-worming medication, which she slurped happily. Hermione – that’s her – always hungry and ready for food, especially her “milk” bottle. She’s actually on solid food already, but she loves her baby bottle. We give her only little milk – it’s mostly Natural Balance canned food mashed up in watery milk mixture. She just enjoys the sucking activity.

Attached are 2 pictures of her baby bottle time. The first was taken yesterday evening. It shows her funny habit of sticking all 4 paws and tail straight up during sucking. She’ll be trembling with excitement and eagerness in this posture. The second picture was taken just a few minutes ago during another feeding. She looks so cute there that I cannot resist sharing it. The person holding the baby bottle in these 2 pictures is Eva, and she is a Standard 5 pupil.

Sorry for only baby bottle session pictures – Hermione such a fast sprinter and in constant movement that it’s so difficult to snap a clear picture.
