Pretty girl Valerie who is undergoing cancer treatment at Gasing went in today for chemotherapy. But tge vet says she is not fit for another dose as her red blood cells are low and she is anemic. Her anemia is due to the immunosuppression in her body caused by the multiple cancers that she is having. The vet has given her the Erytropoetin jab today. She needs to go on Thursday and Saturday for 2 more shots of Erytropoetin jabs. She will go for the chemotherapy once her red blood cells are increased.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
