This is sweet Marcos, another victim of abandonment. When her owner passed away, Marcos was left all by herself with no food or water. She was locked inside the house and had no way to escape. 😢😱 She also had a cancerous mass protruding from her stomach and 13 years already under her belt… Marcos probably thought she was going to die there alone 😱🐾.

Thankfully, some neighbours heard her cries and called us for help. Thanks to animal lovers like you, Marcos was rescued and the cancerous mass removed. She is now living with the other senior dogs here at our shelter, and she is truly having the best time. Marcos is a sweet old dog who suffered far too much in the last few years of her life. Senior dogs need loving care and a quiet safe haven. Only with your support can we give dogs like Marcos the medical care and attention they need to live the remainder of their lives in the best way possible.
