Talik arrived at our shelter in 2017. A road traffic accident had left him with injuries to his hind leg and hips which required surgery and rehabilitation. He also had to have an eye removed.

The long-term effects the accident has had on Talik’s hips and spine mean he’s suited to a more laid-back lifestyle, but try telling him that! Despite his old injuries and despite missing half of his vision, he’s a lively boy who enjoys walking with volunteers and burning off energy in our off-lead area.

There’s a lot to love about this big ginger boy, like his permanent wink, his fox-like tail and how he snorts like a pig when he’s exited! You can’t meet Talik and not immediately fall in love with his goofy personality.

Sadly, Talik’s been sharing his space in the shelter with 20+ other dogs for over four years now.✨ With all the potential he has, we don’t want him to do so for a day longer. https://links.soidog.org/Meet-Talik
