Maybe there are still many people who think sterilization is horrific.

Especially during trapping time, the furkids will jump, bark, and bite the cage frantically because of fear …

We feel sorry for them too. BUT in long term, sterilization can help to reduce their population, avoid many conflicts and their homeless life do not have to be so tough, and even avoid the tragedy of being killed!

Sterilization is the only humane way to solve the issue of strays. We hope more people can join and learn together to help them.

And the little puppies Dong dong and Xi xi didn’t even receive an adoption enquiry 🥲

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
