APPEAL FOR DONATIONS TO TREAT SICK DOGS / CATS
Dear friends, well-wishers and animal lovers,
As many of you may already know, SPCA Seberang Perai is a non-profit, non-kill animal shelter that houses strays mostly surrendered by the public and by the local council. We now have around 2000 dogs and 500 cats of all ages in our shelter. And the numbers keep increasing every other day.
Quite a number of the strays that are surrendered come in sick, injured and in bad shape. As we strictly adhere to a non-kill policy, we never put to sleep any animal but we try our best to treat those with minor ailments. The seriously unwell ones we send to the veterinarian for treatment.
The funds we collect from the public are barely enough to feed the animals in our shelter, pay our workers their allowances and to settle utility and other bills.
Thus, we would like to appeal to you and your kind-heartedness and love for animals to help sponsor and share the cost of treating the sick dogs and cats we send to the veterinarian.
You may donate as little as RM10 or pay for the whole treatment of the respective unwell animal. Your kind, generous deed will surely go a long way to ease the pain and suffering the animal is going through.
Below is Blackie which has her intestines jutting out from her anus. She is now with the vet for treatment. She is expected to be warded for a few days.
Your donations for her treatment can be transferred to our account
OCBC BANK
7311232067
Please add as Reference, ‘Blackie Piles’. Please post your bank-in or transfer slip here in this FB thread or WhatsApp to our SPCA Office HP No. 017-4768660.
We will account for every ringgit and sen collected for her treatment by posting the details here later.
Kindly also let us have your Full Name and Postal Address if you want us to send you our receipt.
Thank you and May God bless you.
‘DO GOOD AND YOU WILL GET GOOD IN RETURN.’
