Happy International Orangutan Day everyone!

Many people still don’t know much about these tree-dwelling gentle giants, and we lose more and more of them every day. Both habitat loss due to deforestation, and the poaching of baby orangutans, have had a huge effect on their numbers in the wild. Currently all 3 species of orangutan are critically endangered, with some species’ numbers as low as 800.

Do your part today in protecting them by reporting on wildlife trafficking, and not buying their babies!
