It's The Day To Celebrate The Black Cats In Your L..

It’s the day to celebrate the black cats in your life. #BlackCatAppreciationDay 🖤

Every rescue organisation will tell you that finding homes for black cats is a bit harder than when it comes to adopting out those like the tabbies and the gingers.

But, what every adopter of a black cat will tell you is that they are just as awesome as all other cats, if not even better with their lovable and affectionate personalities.🥰

To celebrate this day dedicated to bring out the stories of why we all love black cats, we wanted to share an update from Soi Dog’s very own Blackstar now known as Boo who was one of the most recent black cats who found a home.

He came to us after meeting a really awful accident. He was touch and go and we really didn’t think he was going to make it. But, all that hard work paid off, because a year and three months later, Blackstar went to his #foreverhome in the USA. 🇺🇸

“Boo is doing wonderful! He loves his new home and is so enjoying life with his new family. He is such a playful boy and we really enjoy his energy and joyful spirit in our home! He and scout, our resident dog, are slowly starting to trust each other as well. They still haven’t quite figured out how to play with one another, but they try and I know they will get there soon! Thanks again for finding us the most perfect match for our family!”

Just as there is a home for every dog or cat, every black cat deserves to find a lovely home as Boo did.

So, if you are thinking of adopting a cat, actively search for a black cat, because they very easily get overlooked amongst their more colourful, eye-catching peers #LoveBlackCats
