When it comes to puppies, we always tell independant rescuers to foster them first as our place is not suitable for motherless puppies. The noise and big snarling dogs frighten and stresse the little pups and sometimes the outcome is not good. We took in some motherless puppies in late Feb and March and found them infected with distemper. Luckily we managed to find a clinic to keep them. They were positive distemper for a long time and are ready for discharge now. Unfortunately we owe the clinic for the almost five months of treatment and boarding. We don’t think the original rescuers would be able to handle this and therefore are hoping on your generosity to help out. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
