Free The Bears From Bear Bile Farming

Hi Folks,

I was looking at the Sunsuper Dreams contestants for this month and yes, I have voted for LASSie and they are currently in 2nd place.

In first place is “Free the Bears”and it is an organisation that saves bear from bear bile farming in Asia.

Bear bile farming is one of the most cruel exploitation of animals. I highlighted it before, here, July 2011:�http://myanimalcare.org/2011/07/28/human-cruelty-knows-no-bounds-bear-bile/

Bears, young or old, are captured and chained up in a standing position (vertically) for the rest of their lives (for YEARS) and their bile would be extracted. Mother-bears cry seeing their babies chained up, and there was a case where a mother-bear broke free and killed her baby that was chained, then killed herself.

Can you imagine the anxiety of the mother-bear watching her baby suffer that she would rather kill the baby and then herself?

So, folks, Free the Bears get my vote as well, as I am very, very much against this cruelty and would like to see bear bile farming come to an end.

I see Sunsuper has a better system in place this round. You have to type in a code when you vote, and I think one IP address can only vote once.
