It’s easy to be drawn in by Hasayyo’s handsome looks, but once you get to know his sweet and easygoing personality, that’s when you’ll really fall in love!

Abandoned by his owner then hit by a car, pelvic bones fractured and fur covered in fleas – Hasayyo’s story has so many of the common tropes we sadly see in street dogs arriving at our shelter. But thanks to your support, he got the care he needed to heal on the inside and out, and now the only reminder of his ordeal is a slight wiggle to his walk.

As three-year-old Hasayyo has relaxed into the shelter environment, he’s shown us that he enjoys the simple things in life, like taking gentle strolls around the lake and resting his head in the lap of the nearest human for strokes and scratches. We think it’s time he shared these simple pleasures with his very own family.
