Macha arrived at the Soi Dog Shelter on 9th November with an extremely bad wound on her front left paw which was severely swollen & infested with maggots. After extensive treatment by Dr Su & her team the infection cleared & swelling subsided. However Macha was not using her paw & it was obviously still causing her much discomfort. Therefore the decision was made to amputate as we believed Macha would be more comfortable & mobile without the limb.

Macha’s currently still in our clinic recovering from the amputation. But indications are she’s much improved, is already walking on 3 legs & should soon be ready to return to our Puppy Run. You can help us care for Macha by sponsoring her today.
