Last week, we introduced Nithya and the most gorgeous pair of turtle earrings that she has created to raise funds for TCS.

Today, we’re having a sneak peel into Nithya’s works station, where all her designs magically become reality All of Nithya’s collections were meticulously crafted here, in her personal workspace, including the “Jewel of the Ocean.”

The “Jewel of the Ocean” is a piece that she has curated exclusively for Heart of Athena x TCS.

“The inspiration behind this design is a turtle swimming in the ocean. The strings of beads symbolise the ocean. So it looks like a sea turtle is swimming in ocean. The colour scheme was definitely inspired by the colour of turtles themselves and the ocean they swim in!”

The “Jewel of the Ocean” is available only in July 2021. To purchase, head over to Heart Of Athena. For every pair of earrings sold, RM10 will be donated to TCS to support our on-going conservation efforts 🐢

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
