It’s suspected that this extremely friendly boy was dumped as he was found aimlessly wandering up and down a beach, unfamiliar to locals in the area. One of these kind locals alerted us after he noticed that Kongo had a severe open wound on his paw. Although Kongo lost his pinky toe, our vets were able to save his leg.

Kongo is safe here at Soi Dog, but it’s been difficult for him to adapt to shelter life as he enjoys lots of undivided attention. We often see him sitting, smiling and waiting for someone to visit his enclosure and take him for a walk. When they do, he can barely contain his excitement. He dances on the spot and his eyes shine as if to say “I’m ready, I’m ready!”

Kongo enjoys everyone’s company and has a lot of curiosity when exploring the world outside his enclosure. He can’t wait for the day where someone comes along and takes him home forever🏠 Could that be you? https://links.soidog.org/Adopt-Kongo
