we received sad news last week from our long-time supporter Mr. Richard that Macy went to the rainbow bridge. Macy was estimated around 12 years old..

Macy (original named Mercy) was one of the puppies of SCAS’s rescued dog Ah boy that lived by the riverside behind our old shelter. Richard adopted Macy in 2011 and since then, Macy was having a pampered life together with other dogs under Richard TLC. Richard loved Macy to the bit, he brought Macy everywhere and Macy was even posted in Richard’s wedding photo.

Having a pet as part of our family is a wonderful and rewarding experience. We hope Richard can treasure all the wonderful moments with Macy in his heart and knowing that Macy went to a better place. Separation on the earth is just temporary and we are very sure to see our sweetheart again someday.

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
