Tilly Was Rescued From The Local Government Dog Po..

Tilly was rescued from the local government dog pound and brought to Soi Dog for treatment for anaemia and cherry eye back in 2018. Just five months later, this petite pooch was adopted and travelled to Switzerland to be with her forever family🇨🇭 She’s now living the dream in the Swiss countryside surrounded by farmland.

Here’s Tilly’s #furrytailending update and some photos we recently received from her adopter. They say she’s very photogenic, and we think you’ll agree!

“During my first visit to Soi Dog in December 2018, I was lucky enough to meet a lady who was there as a volunteer. I didn’t see Tilly then because she was still in hospital. Tilly was [the volunteer’s] love at first sight. She knew that she had to look for someone to adopt Tilly, as she couldn’t adopt herself. So we came over to Phuket to meet Tilly and brought her back to Switzerland in May 2019.

She felt very comfortable with us from the beginning and she is an easy-going doggy. We live on a farm surrounded by green pastures and Tilly enjoys playing with her best friend – a Bernese mountain dog. She loves to go for walks and also likes to be on the balcony so she can check who is walking by.

She likes to travel and we have spent some lovely holidays with her in Austria, France, north Germany and of course in the Swiss Alps. Tilly is a happy dog and enjoys life to the fullest. We are so grateful that Tilly is part of our family – thanks to Soi Dog.”

If you’re thinking of adopting, please consider a soi dog. They’ve had a hard time before coming to our shelter, as Tilly once did, and some of them have been waiting for their #furrytailending for years. To meet them, please visit: https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
