📯 Spay and Neuter update!

In May 2021, thanks to your generous support, 10,402 dogs and cats were spayed and neutered all around Thailand, bringing the total number of animals sterilised since 2003, to over 570,000!

Last month, from Phuket, to Bangkok to Koh Samui to Nakhon Si Thammarat, the mobile clinic teams worked hard to catch as many dogs and cats possible, for sterilisation.

Current Covid-19 restrictions in place due to the severe third wave of the pandemic sweeping across Thailand has made life difficult for the teams. They’ve been constrained in setting up mobile clinics in populated areas, but that didn’t stop them from focusing on those dogs who were feral and harder to catch.

Here is our team in Nakhon Si Thammarat who had to set off on a boat to catch a few of these dogs.

Spaying and neutering provides the most sustainable and humane solution to the stray dog and cat suffering. Together with your support we can make sure that these these animals can lead healthy and happy lives alongside the human communities.
