Trenall Now Called Trinity Came Into Soi Dogs Care..

Trenall – now called Trinity – came into Soi Dog’s care in 2016. Sadly, black dogs like her are often the last to catch an adopter’s eye, and she was overlooked for nearly four years. It felt like luck just wasn’t on her side.

But last year, Trenall finally captured the heart of someone who saw her profile on Soi Dog’s Twitter feed. It’s now been a year since she left our shelter to start her new life in Canada🇨🇦 A few months after her arrival, she celebrated her 10th birthday with her new family. Here is her #furrytailending🐾 update from her adopter:

“Trinity is just absolutely amazing. She’s maintained her calm and accepting demeanor since the first day she arrived. She has continued to flourish and become part of the family. She started to accept us all by giving timid little kisses to her sisters and that has slowly became her routine thing.

Trinity adds so much to our pack and is a very positive influence on the others. She is very well behaved, both in the house and on walks. She loves going off leash with her sisters and they are all follow verbal prompts well, even when running free! Trinity is so shiny and energetic, she runs and pounces and hunts like a youngster!

She may be 10 and will turn 11 next month, but she sure doesn’t act like a senior! She’s full of life and energy and curiosity and always out front exploring everything and embracing every trip to a new place. She is just a wonder!

Trinity is amazing and we all love her very much and she loves and accepts us too. We wouldn’t be the happy, better behaved loving pack we are today without her! Thank you for adding so much joy to all our lives, we are forever grateful and blessed to have Trinity as part of our family♥”

It brings us such joy to see Trenall, a seemingly forgotten senior, finally find her sky to shine☀️ We hope her story will inspire you to open your heart to a senior dog. Years of love are still ahead, and they are waiting to spend them with you: https://links.soidog.org/adopt-a-senior-dog
