疫情严峻加上不断执行管制，天天为浪浪东奔西跑的我们除了要担心病毒，更让我们忧心的还是街头浪浪的处境 ….

虽然好不容易拿到了相关部门的批准信，夜晚从园区忙完出来去喂浪浪时，依旧有志工遇到警察的刁难 ….. 搜车、拍证件、警告，让我们天天提心吊胆

这段时间帮浪浪的人又更少了 …

也听到不少爱妈们说最近没工作、没收入，根本无法再继续帮浪浪 😢

浪孩子们在街头过得又更困苦一些，街头缺乏资源、没食物，有喂食者的出现，对浪浪来说，简直像是中大彩一样的幸运，它们天天风雨无阻在原地等着我们的出现

图的，也就只不过是那一餐温饱

不太敢在街上久留，迅速的放了食物，摸摸头，叮咛它们要小心安危，我们就得奔往下个地点，继续喂食

每个志工有自己每天会去喂食的定点，几个人加起来，一个晚上大概能填饱200只浪浪的饿肚，而大家都是自费买浪浪的伙食，也有的志工动用了自己超过一半的薪水，来喂食、医治和救援浪孩们，少买一件奢侈品，但能让另一个生命过得更好，很值得

眼下国内疫情还会持续好一段时间 … 能力所及，我们一起准备些食物给社区浪浪，情况许可下为它们做结扎来控制数量、帮它们找个家 (*结扎非常非常重要* ⚠️ 如需要帮忙欢迎私讯) 🙏

街角的某一处，或许就有一个在等着希望的无助生命，但无奈的是，它根本无法开口求救

With the severe pandemic situation coupled with the continuous movement control orders, we, who are running around the town to help strays every day, not only have to worry about the virus, what worries us more is the situation of the street animals ….

Although we finally got the official letter from the relevant department, when we came out from the shelter to feed strays at night, some volunteers still encountered difficulties from the police … Checking our cars, taking photos of our papers, and warnings made us nervous every day.

During this period of time there are fewer people helping strays … We have also heard many caregivers say that they have no job or income recently, and they cannot continue to help the strays 😢

The homeless furkids are living more difficult on the street.

There are no resources and food on the street, and once there are feeders appear, they will be waiting for us in the same place every day, rain or shine, for just one meal.

We didn’t dare to stay on the street for a long time, quickly put the food, pat their heads, reminded them to be careful, then we have to rush to the next spot and continue feeding.

Each volunteer has our own fixed feeding point where we will feed every day. In total about 200 strays’ hungry belly can be filled up in one night, and everyone buys the food at their own expense, and some volunteers use more than half of their salary to feed, treat and rescue the furkids.

It is worth it if we can make another life better by just choosing to buy one less luxury item.

It seems like the pandemic will continue for a long time … As far as we can, please prepare some food for our community strays together, and neuter them whenever possible to control their population (*SPAY & NEUTER is very, very important*, if you need help, welcome to pm us) 🙏

Somewhere on the corner of the street, there may be a helpless life waiting for hope, but sadly, it can’t speak for help ….. Let us pay more attention and help more of them 🙏

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
