Wwf Forests Forward

The resources and services forests provide are invaluable – and yet consistently undervalued in business and investment decisions.

Deforestation and forest degradation continue at an alarming rate as demand for land, energy, and wood products increase. Whilst businesses and investors across the world have set ambitious zero-deforestation and conversion targets, action still lags behind.

WWF’s new Forests Forward platform engages companies and investors across sectors to accelerate sustainability, zero-deforestation and conversion commitments and create impact in critical forest landscapes. Forests Forward aims to support those companies to improve the management of a targeted 150 million hectares of forest globally by 2030.

WWF-Malaysia would like to welcome Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur as the first participant from Malaysia in the Forests Forward programme. #ForestsForward
