Last Week, We Finally Managed To Trap The Followin..

Last week, we finally managed to trap the following 2 difficult tmp feral cats at Taman Mutiara Puchong that refused to enter the traps during our earlier attempts:

1st Cat: We have attempted 3 times to get this orange and white female feral cat in Taman Mutiara Puchong, but have been unsuccessful as she simply refused to go inside the trap. This time, we bought an extra delicious tuna can fish and placed a generous portion inside the trap. And finally, she went inside the trap! She couldn’t resist the strong aroma of the tuna this time and coincidentally she was extremely hungry. She went inside the trap after 15 mins of sniffing and observation, and she even finished all the tuna whilst she was being trapped. Our 4th attempt! Finally!

2nd Cat: This is a tricolor female feral cat in Taman Mutiara Puchong that was absolutely tough to trap. We tried 3 times and failed as she just refused to enter the trap no matter how hungry she was. We attempted again for the 4th time, but again she walked away from the trap. Few hours later, we met the cat’s regular feeder who is a resident there and we got her assistance to help lure the cat into the trap. We guided the feeder how to set up the trap and make a trail leading towards the direction of the food inside the trap with small pieces of tuna fish. The resident feeder was very helpful and cooperative and she did exactly what she was guided to do. Less than 30 minutes later, we received a call from her informing it’s done! The resident feeder was a quick learner and executed it flawlessly! She encouraged the cat to follow the trail and after continuous persuasions by the feeder, the cat listened to her and finally went inside the trap. Without the resident feeder’s help, we wouldn’t have caught the cat as she was a tough one. And this again depicts the reason why TNRM always works with feeders to achieve a much greater efficiency in the trapping process.
