EVERY DAY AT SPCA

Did you know? In 1947, after the Japanese occupation, #SPCASingapore (then known as RSPCA) was revived by an Englishwoman, Miss Lucia Bach, who ran a boarding house and took in unwanted street animals left behind.

We are there for the animals through rain or shine. Our services are still running in Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) — 24/7 emergency rescues, cruelty/welfare investigations, shelter care and clinic treatments, nationwide sterilisation programmes (TNRM), and more.

Here are some ways to help:

—For cat guardians, please mesh windows and doors as cats falling from height is a heartbreaking issue we tackle regularly

–Adopt a #friendforlife by booking an appointment via http://bit.ly/SPCABooking

—Donate to our animals at http://bit.ly/appeal2021

—Watch over our community animals (call our 24/7 hotline, 6287 5355 Ext. 9, if you find injured, sick, abandoned or abused animals)

—Promote animal welfare campaigns and responsible pet ownership (e.g. using force-free training, ensuring pets are leashed during walks)

Above all, stay safe, pawsitive and kind. 💙
