Life as a homeless dog is tough enough when you’re ignored and overlooked. However, when people actively don’t want you around, it becomes even tougher. Echellia knows this all too well. Back in 2016, she gave birth to six puppies at a hotel construction site, and the owner made it clear they were not welcome there.

Fortunately, one of the workers at the site realised that Echellia and her litter were in danger and alerted Soi Dog who brought the family into the safety of the shelter.

All of her babies went on to find their forever homes (with the exception of Elophy who you can meet here https://www.soidog.org/adopt/elophy-281). Echellia, however, hasn’t been so lucky. Her sad past on street has impacted her confidence and trust and caused her to get lost in the crowd. She’s been with us for over four-and-a-half years now.😔
