(eng ver. below)

When encountered a cat trapped on the roof, you can also do the same to help them! 🙇🙋🙏

Recently we received a call for help, a stray cat was trapped on a high roof, and had no food on it for three days and nights 😢 It constantly crying for help and can only hide under the small eaves in heavy rain.

According to nearby residents, Bomba came twice, but the cat was very scared of people and couldn’t get close at all.

We’re worried that the cat will be severely dehydrated, and even afraid that she will die on the roof 😭 Although we three girls have acrophobia, but we need and must go to help the cat …

Considering that the cat is very afraid of people, and also after going to the site it was raining heavily, the roof tiles were very slippery, it was a suicidal behavior for us to climb up. At last, we decided to use a useful rescue method that we had tried few times before.

We borrowed two long ladders and built them in two layers (⚠️Note that the ladders must be placed firmly! This way only the cat dares to climb down at ease)

And sprinkle fragrant canned meat near the ladder and on each layer of the ladder to teach and guide the cat to walk down by itself.

Generally, trapped cats are hungry for several days and they will be tempted by food. Even if some timid cats are afraid of going down the stairs, they can safely reach the land without knowing it while eating and walking down.

⚠️ If you encounter a cat who is afraid of people, please hide somewhere and observe it quietly. The cat will only dare to come down when nobody is around. ⚠️

This rescue method is actually not difficult to understand. Imagine yourself trapped in a place, out of the survival instinct, anything that can help you to get out of it, you will try best to use it.

But it should also be noted that someone should keep observing the ladder to prevent thieves.

In the end, this black cat successfully climbed down the stairs and was safe 👏👏👏👏👍👍

But because she was so afraid of people, she ran away fast after got down and we didn’t even have a chance to take her to the vet for an examination …

*We’re very grateful to the house owner – Mr.Maha, for his full cooperation and help throughout the entire process, so that the rescue can proceed smoothly 🙏*

We also hope people don’t get misunderstood that cats are naughty or think they deserve it, because in fact, many of the trapped cats are pregnant cat mothers … They might think that high roofs are safer and more suitable for giving birth, but only realize they can’t get down in the end, or some even fall accidentally and have a miscarriage 😢

However, some cats are trapped because of their hunting nature. When chasing prey (such as birds or butterflies), they accidentally climb higher and higher, and in the end find that they have no way to get down.

Whenever you encounter a trapped cat on roof, we hope everyone can try best to help them ❤🙏🐱
