In Loving Memory Of Amber. On 4 April 2021, Amber ..

On 4 April 2021, Amber came to SetiaWalk and brought along her 5 young kittens to seek refuge. When the Security Team found them in the car park basement, all 6 of them were skinny, exhausted and starving. Mr Navin, SetiaWalk’s Security Head, immediately fed them food and updated TNRM. Together, we looked after these pitiful strays at SetiaWalk, fed them daily, protect them and posted the 5 kittens for adoption.
Amber was a very friendly mama stray cat. Her soft and affectionate demeanour had won the hearts of many feeders, workers and passer-bys at SetiaWalk. Most importantly, she captivated the heart of a beer outlet owner who kindly allowed her and her 5 kittens to stay at his outlet. We could see she was more reliefed as she was able to provide better protection to her 5 little ones at the outlet.
Fortunately by 21 April 2021, we managed to get all of Amber’s 5 kittens adopted into good homes. We then immediately arranged Amber to be spayed at our panel vet to let her live a more peaceful and calmer life. She was discharged from the vet a week later after recovery and she was released back at SetiaWalk. She continued to receive the care and attention at the beer outlet and she was visited regularly by feeders. She enjoyed the company of her visitors and greeted them with love and affection. Based on such loving character, we made preparations to post her for adoption to find her a permanent loving home which she well deserves.
On 16 May 2021, unfortunately Amber was found dead outside the beer outlet. There were no visible external injuries and we do not know the cause of her death. We were all deeply saddened by her sudden and untimely death. The Security Team layed her body to rest in the SetiaWalk gardens with a thoughtful burial.
Despite Amber’s time with us was short, she will forever be remembered as our loving SetiaWalk cat.
