This 9-year-old boy came in with a horrifying, open wound on his head. Poor Santaro was either abused or bitten by another dog, and we don’t know how long he had to live in such conditions before he was finally spotted and rescued.😱😱On top of this heartbreaking injury, Santaro was also anaemic and had contracted several bacterial infections… 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.🙏🧡 Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to provide urgent medical care for dogs like Santaro, who come through our doors every day in life-threatening conditions.

Thanks to animal lovers like you, Santaro was brought to Soi Dog, where he received the urgent medical care he needed to survive. With such a big open wound, the chances of contracting serious infections and diseases are high, and can have lethal consequences for older dogs like Santaro. 😨🐾

It took him a few weeks to recover from his wound reconstruction surgery, but he has been rocking it since then. His ordeal left him with one ear only and a very funny haircut, which makes him even more adorable😍🐶. Without you, none of this would have been possible for Santaro.
