World Veterinary Day. Spcasingapore Runs Singapore..

#SPCASingapore runs Singapore’s only non-profit community animal clinic, and this would not be possible without our lean veterinary team (locum and full-time). In 2020 alone, SPCA performed a total of 2050 surgeries—ranging from 6 to 20 surgeries a day. Sometimes, they even bring critical care cases home to provide them with round-the-clock care.
Currently, there is a worldwide shortage of vets. Among medical professionals, suicide rates among vets are also some of the highest—#NotOneMoreVet social campaign hopes to raise awareness about this issue. 🌏 Let’s remind ourselves to treat all vets kindly, as the work they do is really tough. You can also send your favorite vet a thank you message!
Note: If you’re interested in being a critical care fosterer, you can apply by emailing volunteer@spca.org.sg.
