Dr Lian of Lian Veterinary clinic has performed the second surgery on Farah of Kapar. Farah has recovered well from anesthesia. Dr Lian had done a right femoral head and neck excision as well as neutered Farah. Farah had early pregnancy with three embryos. Her right hindlimb is still having poor proprioception and the wound at the left trochanteric area is getting smaller and healing well.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
