Snares can be lethal to puppies and small animals; they can be made at home and are often the tool of choice for trappers. Snares are designed to catch animals by their neck and choke them to death, but more often than not, they end up capturing animals by other body parts. If left unchecked and not marked, they can be extremely harmful to stray dogs.

𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁… This poor four-year-old pup, was caught in a snare that was originally set up to catch wild boars… imagine how much he must have suffered as his leg was brutally captured by the snare wire… Thanks to you, Zercho is now slowly recovering from his physical and psychological trauma, and we hope he will keep being such a strong boy! 💪🐾💕
