Quek Yew Aun is a well-known in marine conservation field. He is an Assistant Secretary of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (Kementerian Tenaga dan Sumber Asli) and the co-founder of Reef Stakes®; a marine themed role-playing game card in Malaysia.

He’s passion and enthusiasm marine conservation advocacy has landed him on the list of “2021 EE 30 Under 30 Changemaker” in the North American

Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE).

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
