Handsome Lanero was luckier than many street dogs because he had someone to feed him and to watch over him. Sadly, however, this does not prevent free-roaming dogs from encountering terrible dangers during their daily lives, just like snares. This, Lanero knows very well.

Not only was his severed leg incredibly infected, but he also had a very high fever as well as extremely low iron levels in his blood. This brave and beautiful four-year-old boy was rescued just in time. It truly is down to the kindness of animal lovers like you that he is now in our care and has a chance at recovering and having a future.

As soon as he was strong enough and the fever subsided, the rest of his unusable and infected leg was amputated. Now, he is getting the ongoing treatment and rest he needs at the Soi Dog hospital.
