Bird, Cupcakes and Dogs!!!

Yesterday’s event was an interesting one!

Not only did two dogs receive their forever home, an injured baby pigeon found on the sidewalk received help!

Our volunteer delivered the injured baby bird to capable hands, and now it’s being nursed back to health. The baby bird likely fell from its nest while trying to fly, as it has what appeared to be a crippled/deformed leg. This baby bird is now receiving its second chance to life.🪶

We are also blessed to have the Yim family (with their two gorgeous girls, Micco being the first adoption right at Jaya One). It always put smiles on our faces to know the love Mr & Mrs Yim shower on these two girls. 💕

And if you’re wondering what’s the cupcakes about…

🧁🧁🧁Well, we were truly blessed yesterday with super delicious chocolate cupcakes for the human volunteers and pupcake for the dogs! The cupcakes were sooooo pretty!!! And to show how appreciative we are, the cupcakes were devoured before any photos could be taken!!! 😋

To the beautiful soul celebrating her dog’s birthday, we didn’t manage to get your name! Thank you for thinking of us and sharing the joy with us! Happy birthday to your lil one! 🐾 And please drop a line to say hi, if you’re seeing this.

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
