Kerm

Senior citizen Kerm was admitted at Gasing after she appeared to be blur. An MRI showed a whitish lesion at the right forebrain indocating the possibility that she had had an ischaemic stroke. So Kerm would high likely have dull mentation for life as in not being very active and will have characteristics of Alzheimers disease. Food and water will need to be brought to her and she may need to be coaxed to eat. There is no medication for this as it is an aging issue. She can be discharged and be given a palliative care at home.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
