Feeder Hana in Cyberjaya recently told us about this mama dog who’s not only pregnant but has a string/wire tied around her paw that’s been there so long that it has eaten into her flesh and gotten tighter and tighter over time. The foot looked swollen and she is hobbling around on 3 legs. She must be in so much pain for so long and to save her foot from amputation (hopefully) we rushed over late last night. It was storming but we had to try to find her, even if she tends to wander around and not stay on in one area. Luckily when we got there, she was there! We managed to not only trap her but another difficult female in her pack that entered the enclosure! What an unexpectedly fruitful night it was. They were both sent to our panel vet for spaying, vaccination and eartipping this morning. The first female will also get her foot treated.
