The streets are a terribly unforgiving place for homeless animals. Tragically, only the lucky few make it past the first months of life. Therefore, when a six-year-old cat like Vinnie comes through our doors, we know he has had his fair share of trials. This ginger boy had an enormous wound. Sadly, though, Vinnie was also hiding many more health issues.

The vets discovered that Vinnie has an infectious disease called FIV, as well as ataxia (a nerve issue that gives him a funny walk) and furthermore, he was missing most of his teeth. How he managed to survive so long on the streets is a total mystery. In fact, it is miraculous.

Fast-forward a few months and despite him having FIV, no teeth, a strange walk and a grumpy disposition, Vinnie is in otherwise great physical condition ๐Ÿ’ช Cat lovers like you saved him from certain death. In fact, this unique boy is doing so well now that he is looking for a very special someone to offer him a family and home. ๐Ÿ

We do hope that someone can offer him a home. If not, he may need to stay with us for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, there is no government funding to help homeless cats like him. There is only kind people like you. During this crisis, street cats and dogs have been coming through our shelter doors at an unprecedented rate. We have more cats at Soi Dog than ever before โ€“ more than 350! Any gift during this testing time really does save lives and means everything to a homeless animal like Vinnie. Please give if you can today: https://links.soidog.org/vinnie
