Three-year-old Shiwa spent his early life roaming the streets fending for himself. One day, he ran into trouble and found himself with a huge open wound on his hip. A kind lady rushed him to a local clinic, but he needed further care she couldn’t afford, so she brought him to Soi Dog.

It took months of treatment, including reconstructive surgery, to heal Shiwa’s chronic wound. But he made it through thanks to supporters like you. 🙏✨

Shiwa is a fun-loving and mischievous boy, but we can see that the trauma of his injury has made him a little cautious, and it takes him time to truly let his guard down.⁠ He’s therefore looking for an understanding family who can give him the space to relax. In the right environment, we’re sure it won’t be long before he trusts enough to kick his legs in the air and show his belly! 🐾
