Lets Study One Of The Important Native Species In ..

Let’s study one of the important native species in our country – rattan. Do you know? There are 107 species of rattan found in Peninsular Malaysia, 85 species in Sabah and 105 species in Sarawak. 😮 However, forest conversion or unsustainable harvesting has slowly depleted the wild populations of rattan to a point that 35 % of the rattan species in Peninsular Malaysia, 25% in Sabah and 30% in Sarawak are thought to be under threat. ☹️ Tell us in the comment section below what you know about rattan. 👇
