Hi Dr. CKY,
A friend of mine took a video of the kitten. I thought you might like to see the kitten in action
Her left side is actually weak, and she is uncoordinated. Those would be the main reasons why she lies on her side and tries to scrabble around. But she does try very hard to sit and stand (with some support) and manage to take a few steps before falling over (it’s like watching a baby take its first few steps!)
As of today, we’ve managed to get her to eat some of the kitten food as well, and she’s eaten more today in one sitting than she has before this, so I hope that is another indication that her health is improving.
By chance have you heard of anyone who would like this kitten? I know her chances are slimmer than most, due to her condition, but she definitely deserves a good home. I am also looking amongst my friends if any would like to take her in, but so far no luck on my side…

After watching the video, I have recommended Shalyn to consult Dr Susanna to see if acupuncture might be able to help the kitten. I’ll also ask my friend, Lydia, if physiotherapy can help. We will subsidise the necessary treatment, exactly as we have done for Sunshine Courage.

The kitten is eating well, which is a big improvement and a very good sign. Let’s help get the necessary help for her.
