Update on two-legged Princess:

Her skin condition has became worse. We have shaved and cleaned the wounds already. She needs daily wound cleaning with chlorhexidine solution and then flushed with saline, wiped dry then applied with antibiotic cream. There might be a lot of scabs on the wounds, which needs to be peeled off and cleaned, so that the antibiotic cream can penetrate into to the wound.

She is on some oral medications including antibiotics and some low dose steroid to help with her skin condition.

Also she needs to wear socks for the hindlimbs so that she won’t be scratching her them and making her skin condition worse

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
