A Heartwarming Fish Story
Tweet |
I seldom write about fish because we don’t deal with the fish in the oceans nor those in people’s aquariums, but today, my friend, Kon, shared a very touching fish story with me.
Kon’s mechanic keeps fish in an aquarium. At the same time, this mechanic looks after his aged mother who had had a stroke. On the day his mother passed away, one of his fish too had a stroke.
Never heard of fish having a stroke, eh?
Well, never have I, but apparently, the fish did, because it kind of became paralysed in one fin or something like that, and could not swim very well.
The mechanic was worried the fish would not be able to survive or eat, because it could not swim very well anymore.
But guess what happened?
Another fish would “bring” the fishfood to this paralysed fish to eat during every feed!
Amazing?
I was speechless when I heard it. Kon said he had taken a photo, but it wasn’t clear.
Well, send it anyway, I said! But he hasn’t, so I thought I’d write the story since I don’t like to push off what I have to do today till tomorrow. I need to go to bed knowing I have done everything I want to do today, and said everything I have to say. In case I die in my sleep, I don’t leave unfinished business around.
So, I’ve told the fish story. Amazing, isn’t it? And many people think fish don’t have much feelings and cannot get things done?
You’ll always have me, son, you hear?
(Not only in the movies, in real life, too!)
