Watch These Rescued Dogs Eat.

This is mealtime at the Freedom shelter in Alexandria, Egypt.. As you can see, this caregiver races to fill all the bowls. The best way to prevent fighting in a large pack of dogs is to distribute the food widely and have the dogs spread out.. It is not easy to care for so many dogs on a shoestring budget, but all of them would be otherwise suffering terribly on the street.

At the moment, there is a deficit and the shelter needs our help to purchase more food and for veterinary treatment for a couple of the dogs. We would be so grateful for any donations. This is one of two shelters we are helping in Egypt right now, and both need help.
