Yes, It's The Same Ginger Kitty, A Year And A Half..

Yes, it’s the same ginger kitty, a year and a half later.

As we celebrate the ‘forgotten’ cats in shelters, the FIV positive cats, we are excited to introduce this gorgeous boy – Matalord our super star 🌟Cat of the Week🌟

#fivawarenessmonth

Found when he was only a few months old, with severe cat flu and conjunctivitis, little Matalord was weak and all alone. He also tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. 😿

Despite the odds, this boy made a dramatic recovery and turned into a mischievous, amber eyed, pink- toe-beaned goofy happy go lucky #soidogrescue

If he wasn’t FIV positive, he would have probably been adopted by now, but sadly no one’s stepped forward to offer this handsome boy a home where he can live out the rest of his life.

A shelter is no place for any animal, let alone a FIV positive cat like Matalord who is young and full of beans with so much potential that he can never achieve when stuck here.

He is searching for his forever home, where he can be the Lord of the Manor with his own ‘hooman’ butler who can provide him with ever ready tuna treats and be available to snap a picture of all his elegant poses and mischievous antics without a moment’s notice.

😻😻FIV=Pawsitively adoptable😻😻 Don’t you you agree?

🧡

Cats like Matalord have gone through some incredibly painful experiences while fighting Feline Immunodefiency Virus (FIV). A disease that inflicts all members of the cat family and affects their immune system. A disease that can be controlled and still allows them to live sometimes as long as any other non FIV cat. However, due to misunderstandings, doubts and lack of information about the disease these cats rarely if ever get a chance to find that #fureverhome

Most animal rescues will not even accommodate these amazing cats, but Soi Dog is a refuge which provides care for FIV rescues who just cannot survive the streets due to injury or vulnerability. Thank you for helping to save their lives.

Will you make them even happier and adopt an FIV positive cat? https://links.soidog.org/are-you-the-one-for-matalord
