11,918 Dogs And Cats Were Spayed, Neutered And Vac..

11,918 dogs and cats were spayed, neutered and vaccinated in February thanks to our amazing donors.. 🙌

We are also super excited to confirm that Dogs Trust Worldwide who funds half of the cost of the project in Bangkok have extended their support for another year! 🥳

The Bangkok mobile teams have so far sterilised and vaccinated over 270,000 animals since 2016.

Karen Reed from Dogs Trust Worldwide said in a press statement, “Soi Dog is a fantastically-run charity doing amazing work, and we are extremely happy to continue to partner with them, as they continue their aim to neuter 80% of street dogs in Greater Bangkok. Our support for their work actually goes back to 2012; what they have accomplished so far is an astonishing achievement and has dramatically changed the lives of street dogs for the better in the country.”

⭐With last month’s sterilisations, the total number of animals spayed and neutered since 2003 is 534,618!⭐

The benefits of spaying and neutering are many and we are thankful to you, our supporters for making the programme the largest of its kind anywhere in the world.

🔸🔸🔸The number of unwanted puppies and kittens prevented from being born into a life of suffering is in the millions.

🔸🔸🔸Improvements to the welfare of those who are already here is immeasurable. Spaying and neutering means the energy they waste during mating, gestation and lactating periods is averted. Their quality of life thus improves dramatically.

🔸🔸🔸Less animals on the street means far less dog-human conflicts and abuse. Acceptance and care for street animals begins.

Our aim is to reach one million animals by 2024. Will you join this exciting journey?
