Our Food Footprint team is seeking two (2) motivated, detail-oriented interns or volunteers who are keen to grow their knowledge on food footprint and enjoy digging through scientific resources.

Position: Knowledge & Resource Management Intern (Food Footprint)

Working Location: Fully Home-Based

Contract Period: 3-6months

.

Responsibilities:

🔎 Screening and extracting key facts from multiple resources (e.g. research papers, studies, reports, academic articles, news articles) on global but mostly local food consumption, food loss and waste as well as food production

📑 Collecting, synthesizing and organising screened resources, information and knowledge

🗂️Maintaining and updating an internal digital resource library

💻 Conducting desktop research as needed

📊 Supporting data analysis as needed

✔️ Complete other tasks as needed or as interest expressed

.

Requirements:

📅 Available at least 20 hrs per week, but preferably full-time for 3-6 months

💻 Unlimited access to a computer/laptop and a stable internet connection

🤓Excellent technical research and analytic skills (statistical analysis skills are a plus)

📈 Good Microsoft Excel skills

💬Excellent command of English – both spoken and written

🧐 Organised, self-motivated with attention to detail and accuracy

👍Having experience in capturing, analysing, managing and retrieving information effectively is a plus

‍🎓Preferably enrolled in or already completed a programme relevant to food systems, food footprint, food policy or similar
