Starburst, A Second Chance. While Undergoing Sedat..
Tweet | ![]() |
While undergoing sedation for sterilisation at the SPCA’s Community Animal Clinic, Starburst had an adverse reaction to the drugs and went into cardiac arrest. Emergency resuscitation was immediately conducted and his heart started beating again! He was under a manual oxygen ventilator for 2 hours after, until he was conscious.
A kind vet fostered him and managed to nurse him back to health! He has since been sterilised at SPCA’s clinic, and has fully recovered. He is now happily spoilt by his fosterer, and is back to his perky and playful self. To his future furmily, he wants you to know that he likes to eat prawns. (・ω -)🍤
SPCA’s clinic alone needs ~$600,000 yearly to run. As a non-profit, non-govt organisation, we need your help to change the lives of over 2,000 animals each year. To give animals like Starburst a second chance, donate here: http://bit.ly/clinicspca 💙 Donations made before 1 April 2021 will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
