He is just no ordinary black cat, he is a star.✨⁠

🌟Cat of the Week🌟 Blackstar came to Soi Dog in January 2020 after a lady found him weak and unable to walk and alerted us to him.⁠

Once at the shelter, Blackstar had X-rays which revealed a fractured hip and a partially paralysed back leg.⁠ It is likely Blackstar met with a road traffic accident, but we don’t know, how long this sweet guy hid in pain and fear.😨⁠

With no hope for that damaged leg, it was decided that the best action was to amputate the leg. #SoiDogRescue⁠

A few months after, he was ready to move out of our cat hospital and start a life as a shelter cat and that was in April of 2020. Since then he’s been waiting for his turn to be picked as someone’s first choice to be their next feline family member.⁠

⁠

Sadly, he has so far not been anyone’s first or second choice.⁠

We are hoping to change that and make that dream of a #foreverhome a reality for this gorgeous boy.🤗⁠

Catstar adores people and loves snuggles and lap times. He is also happy to share his home with another laid back kitty.⁠

He is also best suitable as an indoor cat due to being down to three legs. ⁠
