Cancer In White Cats. Did You Know That White Cats..

Did you know that white cats have a higher risk of skin cancer compared to other felines? This is often caused by sun exposure, which is why they need fur coverage! Squamous Cell Carcinoma is the most common cancer in white cats; it’s painful, disfiguring, and fatal if left untreated.
Pictured: October is a community cat with cancer on both ears. Advanced surgery was done at SPCA’s Community Animal Clinic to remove all cancer cells. Such treatments normally cost ~$1,500 per ear at a private clinic.
Thankfully, she has recovered and now lives with her former community caregiver! (°◡°♡) To help more animals like October, donate to SPCA Singapore at: bit.ly/clinicspca 💙
